It is a boy thing... they go into self destruct mode. Gabe would get on all fours and pound his head into the floor over and over again, or the wall. I would say just ignore it, he will move on from that stage soon enough. I think it is all a ploy to get more attention. Hopefully he does not pull too much hair out! ;)
